Alamo Celebrates Opening of BlueCross Healthy Place at Crockett County High School
Residents of Alamo gathered for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of the BlueCross Healthy Place at Crockett County High School.
A Much-Needed Community Resource
The Crockett County Board of Education applied for a BlueCross Healthy Place grant with the hope of creating a central community space for area residents, something the town was lacking. The BlueCross Foundation invested $750,000 in the project, and the completed space features a community pavilion, play areas, fitness stations and a swing set.
